Ethicon Travelling Fellowship in General Surgery - 2011 |

- This Fellowship is meant to be utilised only within our Country.
- This Fellowship will be given to a Surgeon, who is below the age of 35 years ON 30.5.2010 and has obtained his postgraduate qualifications in General Surgery.
- The selected candidate will spend a period of 2-3 weeks in a centre of his choice, which should be mutually agreed between himself and the Centre, for updating his knowledge in a given surgical speciality.
- The Fellowship will have to be availed of in the same year and will not be allowed to be carried forward.
- The Applications for this Fellowship in the proforma enclosed (10 copies) has to be filled up by the candidate and sent to the Hony. Secretary, The Association of Surgeons of India, 21, Swamy Sivananda Salai, Chepauk, Chennai - 600 005 on or before 15TH SEPTEMBER 2010.
- The selected candidate must send a detailed report on the Training obtained to the ASI Head Office, after he completes his Fellowship Training, along with a Certificate from the Head of the Institution, from where he had the training on or before 15th Sep. 2011. The Report from the institution should also be sent to ASI Head Quarters along with this report.
- A certificate & Award Cheque will be given to the Fellow, during the Annual Conference of the A.S.I.
- Give details of the ASI Awards/Fellowships so far received during the last 10 years.
