- This Fellowship is meant to be utilised only within our Country.
- The member should be below the age of 45 years on 30.5.2010 at the time of submitting the application.
- Twelve sets of applications for the Fellowship should reach the Hony. Secretary, The Association of Surgeons of India, 21, Swamy Sivananda Salai, Chepauk, Chennai- 600 005. BEFORE 15th SEPTEMBER 2010.
- The Applicant must not be a teacher or working in any teaching institute. Applicant should give details of all the Awards and Fellowships received during the last 10 years. A report from the Institution should be sent to ASI Head Quarters.
- The candidate would be sent to any teaching centre of his choice, which should be mutually agreed between himself and the Institution for TWO weeks for updating his/her knowledge in the specific field of Surgery.
- Applications will be scrutinising by a Committee appointed for the purpose by the Association and the decision of the Committee will be final.
- Cheque will be given to the candidate by the Association, on completing the Fellowship Training and sending his report to Head Quarters before 15th SEPTEMBER 2011.
- A certificate & Award Cheque will be given to the Fellow during the Annual Conference of the A.S.I.
- Give details of the ASI Awards/Fellowships so far received during the last 10 years.
